Prepare

Build a webpage from scratch with information for one of your classes. Make a webpage with a book report, a study guide, or anything else you, your classmates, or your teacher might find useful. For this project you will need to be comfortable writing your own HTML and using basic CSS.

Practice

Focus on developing CSS skills (while still practicing HTML) for this Level 2 project. Pick two of these options:

• Learn CSS on Codecademy
• Practice more CSS on Codecademy
• Remix the Excursion website on Codecademy
• Build the homepage for a new music app called Bass
• Build an artist’s portfolio page

Project

Visit Editey.com and login with your Google account. Once you are in, find the “Stylized website” project and select “Clone.” This will open up a new page with three panes for you to write HTML, CSS, and view a preview of your work. Everything you write will be saved in Google Docs and can be published to the web when you’re ready.
